Climate Action Incentive (Ended April 2025)
This rebate has ended
The Climate Action Incentive Payment (CAIP) — the quarterly federal carbon rebate — ended with the final payment on April 22, 2025. The federal consumer fuel charge was set to zero effective April 1, 2025, so no further quarterly payments are being issued.
Because the program no longer exists, this page no longer estimates a payment amount. Households that were eligible received their final payment in April 2025 based on their 2024 tax return.
